Justin Townes Earle + More, Releases 3/25/08

JUSTIN TOWNES EARLE, The Good Life (Bloodshot)
Official Site | MySpace | MP3*

album cover At times Justin Townes Earle sounds like he’s broadcasting songs from a time long gone. At others he couldn’t be more here and now. As you might already know, he’s the son of legendary singer/songwriter Steve Earle and wears the mark of late great Townes Van Zant his as his middle name. Bearing the wisdom and swagger of his folker forebears, Justin Townes Earle brings a welcomed element back to Nashville by reminding the great town of its roots and introducing it to some roots of his own. Downright amazing, song “Who Am I To Say” will burrow deep in your heart, mind and soul. File under: Folk / Acoustic / Country

One Response to “Justin Townes Earle + More, Releases 3/25/08”

  1. blah blah blah Says:

Justin Earle is cashing in on other people’s musical parts, arrangements, etc… on ‘The Good Life”. The article in the Scene is grossly inaccurate also. Whether the actual scenario’s were misunderstood by the writer of the article, or the actual scenario’s were misrepresented by Mr. Earle, the article paints an inaccurate picture as to how everything really happened. Ahh, the good life.
