Justin Currie, ‘What is Love For’ (Full CD) [MySpace.com]
It’s a bit of a quiet week for new music releases, but one that’s got us here at Twangville buzzing is the new Justin Currie (of Del Amitri) album titled What is Love For. Its his solo debut as well as his first record with Rykodisc. With songs like “Walking Through You” let’s hope this is the first of many more records to come. File under: Rock

Bonus Material
Stuff happening with Twangville and our friendly neighbors.
- Justin Trawick, a Twangville/DC favorite, will be playing at Arlington’s IOTA Club and Cafe this Thursday, October 18th. According to Trawick, “the first 50 people to come to IOTA on the 18th will receive a free live CD containing a few choice live recordings I’ve been compiling over the past few weeks and months of touring”. For DC locals, Trawick is an emerging artist worth seeing live. He recently opened for Cowboy Mouth and will play in between Amanda Lee and Practically Einstein on Thursday night. It should be a show worth seeing.
- I’ve got a new favorite podcast I first heard about on Twang Nation. Don’t bother searching for “It Burns When I Pee” cause you’ll find yourself somewhere you don’t care to be unless you really do need the help. Instead go straight to the source at Section_86 and download Episode #0007 with William Elliott Whitmore of It Burns When I Pee. This has got to be one of the more entertaining Americana podcasts out there. Full of redneck shtick, even the ads are great.
