Bruce Springsteen + More, Album Previews

Wednesday, October 03, 2007 By Tom Osborne

Bruce Springsteen, ‘Magic’ (Full CD)

album cover Not even a Bob Dylan release can distract me from the mounted anticipation of Bruce Springsteen‘s new release Magic. He’s back with the E Street Band for this record which means the hootenanny is over at least temporarily. I’ve learned to like anything that Springsteen has made over the years, but what I love best about this album is that the sound is reminiscient of the music he created when I originally became a fan. I don’t care if he parks it at Asbury or anywhere else, all I care is that Springsteen lives on for a long time and keeps on making great records. If there is anyone that distracts from the enigma that is Dylan its Springsteen and I think that says a lot since without Bob we probably never would have come to know Bruce. File under: Rock
