It’ll be interesting to hear that new Buddy Guy. Those are some heavy hitters with him…the Robert Randolph collab should be fun to hear.

Lucky enough to score a Advanced Copy of “Skin Deep”…Nice Balanced disc with a nice variety of sounds. May not make all the purists happy, (though there’s some “Classic Buddy” on this one, but it’s certain to make the masses happier. This one’s a keeper, well worth having in your Buddy collection-now go out and buy it….

yep, i got an advanced copy too…..a lot like the last record (though I think the guests on this one are a lot better), some good songs, some great songs, though the purists are gotta cry bloody murder again……..also the Avett Brothers record is really, really good….especially “Murder In the City”

Bluegrass is some great tunage, free bluegrass from Twangville…nothing would be sweeter.
I have been spinning T’ville’s favorites all summer!

I been to buddy guy’s bar in chicago numerous times. It never gets old
