Twangville Returns to NYC’s Cafe Wha? on June 18th

Wednesday, April 29, 2026 By Mayer Danzig

All of our shows start with a simple premise: invite some of our favorite singer-songwriters to share a stage. On June 18th, that stage is the legendary Café Wha? in New York City.

Charlie Marie possesses a voice that draws comparisons to country music’s classic era—the kind of singing that stops a room. Her songs carry genuine weight, and after a few years away from the spotlight, her forthcoming sophomore album serves as a definitive reminder of what we’ve been missing.

Ward Hayden and Greg Hall are no strangers to one another. As bandmates in Ward Hayden and the Outliers, they’ve spent years sharpening a sound rooted in country tradition and infused with a modern sensibility. For this show, they are stepping out as a duo, fresh off recording a new EP together. Expect a preview of that material alongside the songs that made them staples in the Twangville world.

Thursday, June 18 | Café Wha?, NYC
