Loudon Wainwright III, Strange Weirdos: Music from and Inspired by the film Knocked Up (Full CD)
Don’t let the fact that Loudon Wainwright‘s new album is tied to a movie deter you. Strange Weirdos found its way onto the Knocked Up soundtrack through director and diehard Wainwright fan Judd Apatow. Much of the album’s material preceded the film and some of it is in the form of instrumentals in the movie while being lyrical on the album. Its definitely worth a listen for the folker in you. Enjoy the soulful “X or Y”. File under: Folk.
