Paolo Nutini & More, Album Previews

Monday, January 29, 2007 By Tom Osborne

HOT STUFF:

  • album coverPaolo Nutini, These Streets (WEA)
I haven’t given many of this week’s new releases a listen yet, but a preliminary dig into Scottish cat, Paolo Nutini, has me interested. I’m getting some of the same good vibes I’ve had from Amos Lee and K.T. Tunstall in the past. It has me looking forward to a deeper dive. Definitely check out “New Shoes”. File under: alternative, folk, soul.

WORTH MENTION:

  • Lily Allen, Alright, Still (Capitol)
  • Harry Connick, Jr., Oh My Nola (Columbia)
  • John Mellencamp, Freedom’s Road (Universal Republic)
  • Art Garfunkel, Some Enchanted Evening (Rhino)
  • Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Some Loud Thunder (V2)

See our Release Calendar for more.

NOTE: All full album streams courtesy of AOL Music unless otherwise noted. Album streams are typically only available the week of their release.
