Rocky Votolato + More, Album Previews

Monday, June 18, 2007 By Tom Osborne

Rocky Votolato, The Brag & Cuss (Full CD)

album cover The fifth album from Seattle based Rocky Votolato. Many of the songs were conceived while on the road touring with Lucero and William Elliott Whitmore. This is a solid record though I’d love to see Votolato rock a little harder. I get the sense he’s got it in him. Start with tracks “Postcard From Kentucky”, “Before You Were Born” and “Your Darkest Eyes”. Be sure and check out the Chip’s review of the album. File under: Indie / Folk / Country

Bonus:

  • Rocky Votolato‘s “Postcard From Kentucky” (MP3)* is available for preview and download.

Worth Mention:

  • The Mooney Suzuki, Have Mercy (Full CD)
  • Brad Paisley, 5th Gear (Full CD)
  • Mandy Moore, Wild Hope (Full CD)

Also Look For:

BRYAN FERRY, HACKENSAW BOYS, MARSHALL TUCKER BAND, NICK DRAKE, RON BLOCK, WHITE STRIPES, XAVIER RUDD and more.
