Backyard Tire Fire & More, Album Previews

backyard tire fire album coverBackyard Tire Fire, Vagabonds and Hooligans (O.L.E. Records) Good stuff from Athens and Asheville rooted Backyard Tire Fire. Now putting it down in Bloomington, IL the trio delivers a promising new record titled Vagabonds and Hooligans. You gotta love an album whose first verse reads: Instruments and cable ties and bottles on the floor / The voice of Wayne Coyne bringing back the dead / Vagabonds and hooligans are wrapping at the door / Of the house that sits on a hill inside my head. I look forward to tearing into this one some more. An album preview is available from the BTF web site. File under: alt-country, rock.

WORTH MENTION:

ALSO LOOK FOR:
Patty Griffin, Rickie Lee Jones, Ruthie Foster, Sondre Lerche

NOTE: All full album streams courtesy of AOL Music unless otherwise noted. Album streams are typically only available the week of their release.

Vagabonds and Hooligans should be in everyone’s cd collection! If you ever have the opportunity to see BYTF live, take it!! It’s truly an experience.
