Monday Morning Video – Vincent Neil Emerson

Monday, August 26, 2019 By Mayer Danzig

Country singer Vincent Neil Emerson’s debut was a long time in the making.  For several years the East Texas native has been honing his craft the old school way, playing honky-tonks across Texas and beyond.

One can hear the miles, not to mention the honky-tonk dance floor dust, pulsing through the songs that make up the forthcoming Fried Chicken and Evil Women.  If you like your country classic and sounding as if it was properly aged in a whiskey barrel, then seek this one out.

Here’s a fun pair of videos from Emerson. First up is the title track from the new album (with a taste of his wry wit) followed by a backstage performance of “Roadrunner” (with cameos from Colter Wall and actor Jason Momoa).
