Monday Morning Video – TopHouse

Monday, March 09, 2026 By Mayer Danzig

Some shows remind you why you fell in love with live music in the first place. TopHouse delivered one of those last week in Boston.

The Montana-bred group is rooted in bluegrass—intricate instrumentation, rich harmonies—but their songs are something else entirely: brilliantly crafted pop songs that hit like a gut punch. Live, those punches land even harder.

They’re also hilarious. The between-song banter is as funny as it is dry—one minute they’re tearing your heart out, the next you’re laughing uncontrollably.

Here’s “I Don’t Want to Move On” performed live against the expanse of the Montana skyline. You’ll find the studio version of the song on the group’s 2025’s Theory and Practice.

Catch the band on tour across the US this month and beyond.
