You only turn 20 once! So before we raise a glass at our Sunday Social in Dallas on October 19th, we’re blowing the roof off the Double Wide on Friday, October 17th to kick off our anniversary weekend.
- J. Isaiah Evans & the Boss Tweed – We’ve been fans since they first started setting stages on fire back in 2023. Even better—this night doubles as the release party for their brand-new EP!
- Sophie Gault – Rolling in from Nashville with a full band and a new album due in early 2026. If the sets we saw at AmericanaFest are any indication, expect fireworks.
- A Surprise Guest – No anniversary party’s complete without a surprise, and ours is a longtime Twangville fave crashing the party in glorious musical style.
The only thing that would make it better? Seeing you there! Join us at Double Wide in Dallas on 10/17!

J. ISAIAH EVANS AND THE BOSS TWEED
Fueled by American rock & roll and Texan country-boogie, J. Isaiah Evans & The Boss Tweed play revved-up roots music for garages, roadhouses, and juke joints. Inspired by acts like Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, and Ike Turner, Evans teamed up with keyboardist Matthew Vasquez and drummer Spud Crowley to form The Boss Tweed after fronting another critically-acclaimed act, The 40 Acre Mule, for nearly a decade. The band’s debut album, Americana Radio, finds the guys reimagining the organ trio – an ensemble traditionally seen in jazz music – as a vehicle for lean, mean rock & roll, delivering tracks like “Let’s Rock” and “A Thing For You” with a mix of groove, grit, and Hammond B-3. Recorded to analog tape during two days of live-in-the-studio sessions, Americana Radio introduces a power trio rooted in the 21st century and inspired by the best parts of the past, breathing new life into familiar sounds along the way. Their new EP, Modern Sounds in Americana Music – featuring covers of Alejandro Escovedo, Chuck Prophet, Lucinda Williams, and Tom Waits – comes out 17 October.

Sophie Gault is a Nashville-based alt-country singer-songwriter whose music flows effortlessly between tender ballads and gritty, roots-driven rock. A Maryland native, she brought her guitar and songs to Nashville in 2014, where she honed an expressive guitar style that channels the blues spirit of Bonnie Raitt and Mississippi John Hurt. Her voice blends sweetness with steel, carrying vivid stories that are as vulnerable as they are defiant. With two acclaimed albums to her credit, including 2024’s Baltic Street Hotel, Gault continues to build her reputation as a compelling storyteller and performer, with her next release, Unhinged, due in early 2026.
