Monday Morning Video – Tracy Bonham At the Ballet

Monday, April 28, 2025 By Mayer Danzig

How about something a little different this week? Tracy Bonham revisits her 2000 track “Jumping Bean” with a striking new video that pairs her band and a string section with the Eugene Ballet. Filmed live at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts, the reimagined performance amplifies the song’s defiant spirit, turning it into a sweeping collaboration of rock, classical music, and dance. Choreographed by Suzanne Haag, the dancers echo the song’s drive and determination, pushing Bonham’s message about standing tall against those who try to hold you down. “Jumping Bean” is the latest glimpse into Bonham’s upcoming album Sky Too Wide, due out June 6.
