I’m fortunate to have gotten to see many of my favorite artists perform live. Of course there are a few that slipped through the cracks. One of them was Jellyfish. The group crafted perfect pop songs, all enriched by their glorious harmonies. They only released two albums – Bellybutton and Spilt Milk, both of which are power pop masterpieces that unfortunately sit mostly in the “cult classic” bin.
We’re gonna kick off the week with a two-fer. First is “Baby’s Coming Back” from Bellybutton, followed by a pair of stellar covers: Paul McCartney and Wings’ “Jet” segueing into Badfinger’s “No Matter What”.
