“Can You Feel It?” – a Video Premiere From DB Edmunds

Wednesday, January 29, 2025 By Mayer Danzig

Sometimes one needs an escape from reality and what better way to do it than by losing oneself in a glorious power pop song. It’s a sentiment that North Carolina-based DB Edmunds apparently took to heart with his latest video. It finds Edmunds and his band blasting into the future with spaceships and a landscape that calls to mind the classic cartoon The Jetsons.

Says Edmunds about the video:

In thinking about the first video for Everybody Knows By Now, everyone in the band and on the creative team gravitated to “Can You Feel It?”, probably because it’s just so damn catchy. My longtime collaborator and director friend, Stephen Jablonsky, and I talked about what kind of treatment we wanted, and we both agreed it would be cool to combine live action with animation and AI-generated imagery. Everyone who’s seen it so far has been knocked out by the final result. It’s unlike like any other recent videos any of us has seen, and it’s just a lot of fun to watch.

Edmunds said it right – the song is damn catchy. And the video is damn fun, too. Twangville is honored to premiere the video for “Can You Feel It?”, from Edmunds 2024 release Everybody Knows By Now.
