Monday Morning Video – A Dallas House Show Preview

Monday, April 17, 2023 By Mayer Danzig

We’re at it again… Join Twangville for our Spring 2023 Sunday Social house concert in Dallas on April 30th. Details and RSVP here.

Sure, we’re a bit biased but we are supremely excited about the line-up. First up is Ted Russell Kamp. He’s released eleven solo albums over the course of his career, not to mention being a longtime member of Shooter Jennings’ band and doing session and touring work with artists ranging from Tanya Tucker to Duff McKagan.

Next up is J. Isaiah Evans, singer-songwriter and guitarist for Dallas rock and R&B outfit The 40 Acre Mule. He and his hard-charging crew have built quite a reputation for their raucous live shows. He’ll being appearing solo and (we think) acoustic, but we’ve no doubt that he’ll bring the same intensity to our stage.

And last – but certainly not least – is Adam Carroll, a Texas songwriting institution whose catalog is filled with colorful characters and stories. Carroll is so well respected that artists like James McMurtry and Hayes Carll participated in a tribute to Carroll’s work. And Carroll is far from done telling tales and singing songs.

Enjoy some selections from their respective catalogs. And if you’re in Dallas-Fort Worth (or want to visit Dallas-Fort Worth), we’d love to see you on April 30th.
