Some people know their calling in life at an early age and are able to hone it as they mature. Others need to get pummeled about with several trips around the sun before the outer shell gets knocked off and the white hot passion inside comes to light. Such is the case with Texas born singer-songwriter Dustin Brown. After various adventures around the world he settled in Dallas and let his music and stories be his guide. Now he’s going to release his new album this fall.
The first song to see a broader audience is called Words. It describes a relationship where the lies and deceptions layer on each other until they collapse of their own weight. Set to a ballad tempo and residing somewhere between southern rock and country, it’s a realization that there’s no looking back. We’re proud to premiere Words, and Dustin Brown, here.
