Monday Morning Video – Tell Me How to Get to Sesame Street

Monday, November 18, 2019 By Mayer Danzig

Happy 50th Anniversary, Sesame Street! The legendary children’s television show has become an educational institution, helping to shape countless minds while never shying away from important social topics. It has also hosted some of the biggest names in music history. Their performances include both parodies and straight up takes on their greatest hits, plus some Sesame Street and children’s classics. The best of them feature guest vocals from the Sesame Street cast.

Here are just a few favorites from the past 50 years, featuring Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, REM, James Taylor, Ray Charles, Little Richard, Bela Fleck, Feist, and Elvis Costello.
