Twangville continues our Sunday Social concert series in Dallas on November 3rd (details HERE) with three incredible artists: John Calvin Abney, Brent Cowles and The Reverent Few.
As we eagerly await an afternoon of songs and stories, here is a video playlist to whet our appetites.
John Calvin Abney – “Cowboys and Canyon Queens”, the stunning ballad from 2018’s Coyote and “I Just Want to Feel Good”, the opening track to his wonderful new album Safe Passage.
Brent Cowles – “The Fold,” my favorite song from 2018 (from the album How to Be Ok Alone) and an acoustic take of “Maybe We’re Fine” from his 2017 EP Cold Times. Cowles has also just released a spirited new single titled “High to Low“)
The Reverent Few – Paige DeChausse (lead vocals) and Nick James (lead guitar/vocals) will be bringing some soul and blues to the party. “Marjorie” and “I’ll Bring the Wine” are from their latest EP.
The show takes place in Dallas on Sunday, 3 November. Music begins at 4pm. Details can be found HERE.
Special thanks to Coop Ale Works, Venturity and Hand Drawn Pressing for their support of the Twangville Sunday Social.
