Although he was born in Memphis and raised in Mississippi, Matt Hectorne found his musical muse when he literally and figuratively moved away from his rural roots and embraced an indie vibe with a dash of 80’s rock and roll.  On his upcoming third album, Work, he takes that foundation and adds a little country and some gospel influences from his upbringing.
That mix of blues, country, folk, rock and indie is a pretty good Twangville resume. Â With that in mind, we’re pleased to offer the video premiere of the record’s first single, Only Way Into Your Heart. Â It’s a love song of the one-sided variety and represents the musical style of much of the album. Â Enjoy.
