Sure, I included Bains’ “Whitewash” on my favorite songs from the first half of 2017. This one, however, has really grown on my as the year has progressed. It is quintessential Glory Fires – intelligent social and political commentary set against a sonic blast of electric guitars.

The testament to Cattaneo’s songwriting prowess is that both arrangements of this song – one with the Bottle Rockets and one with Boxcar Lillies — sound tremendous. That said, I’m partial to the version with the Bottle Rockets because, well, it’s the Bottle Rockets.
