It’s that time of year and we want to hear from you what your favorite new album of 2017 was. We’ve narrowed the choices to fifty by selecting from your favorites throughout the year in our weekly Readers’ Pick poll alongside your nominations and a few critically acclaimed additions. Now it’s time to vote. As a refresher, here’s the criteria we’ve been going by:
The rules:
- It has to be a full length album — no EPs. That usually means more than 7 songs.
- New releases only — no re-issues, live albums, or compilations.
- It should at least loosely fit within Twangville’s favorite genres: Alt-Country, Americana, Indie, Rock, Folk & Blues.
We’ll close the poll late Thursday, December 7. Once results are in we’ll add your top selections to our authors picks for a combined album of the year list.
Choose wisely!
