Monday Morning Video – Ian Hunter “When I’m President”

Monday, November 07, 2016 By Mayer Danzig

Tomorrow is election day and we at Twangville want to encourage everyone to vote. We’re not going to get political, we’re merely going to say that it is a right, a privilege and a responsibility for those of us in the United States to select the individuals who will lead our country.

The US Constitution forbids UK born but longtime US resident (and should be rock and roll hall of famer) Ian Hunter from being elected president. Nonetheless, I expect that he’d be among those to remind us that the decision that we make not only affects those of us in the US, it reverberates around the world.

Oh, and the 77 year old Hunter has just released a fine new album called Fingers Crossed.

About the author:  Mild-mannered corporate executive by day, excitable Twangville denizen by night.
