Here’s a sorta long lost classic. Stonehoney got their start in L.A., a group of singer-songwriters who met at a song swap who soon realized that their collective sound was quite special. They moved en mass to Austin, Texas and released a single album — The Cedar Creek Sessions — before disbanding. ‘Tis a shame as they were onto something good with a killer combination of songs, harmonies and musical chops.
Here’s a favorite from said album, recorded live in Q Division Studios, a storied Boston area musical institution.
