Photos that ROCK! Barnstar! Brings Bluegrass to Cambridge

Barnstar! at Club Passim

Cambridge, MA

March 13, 2016

C’mon!! When I heard that Barnstar! was playing a special 3pm show at Club Passim, I knew that this would be the perfect opportunity for my 15 month old son to experience his first concert. After all, I had just found out that I was pregnant with him when I had the honor of watching these guys record some of their latest album. I can’t believe it’s taken 2 years for me to finally see them play these songs live and it was worth the wait. They have an energy that’s impossible to describe– I don’t have as many photos as usual because I was too busy dancing in the back with my son! He lasted through the entire 2 hour show, which says something about Barnstar’s ability to entertain and hold a rapt audience’s attention. Special bonus were the series of Viagra jokes that were traded back and forth between Zack Hickman and Taylor Armerding (the senior member of the group).
