We can thank Brandi Carlile for turning October into a seeming Fleetwood Mac tribute month on our Monday Morning Video series. Carlile passed through Boston over the weekend and played an incredible show that moved gracefully between intimate ballads and foot-stomping rockers. Heck, she even kicked off the encore with an enchanting acoustic song sung from the balcony.
In between her own songs, including several from 2015’s outstanding The Firewatcher’s Daughter, she treated the sell-out crowd to a couple of brilliant covers. One of ’em was, you guessed it, a classic from the Fleetwood Mac catalog. Brandi and her band did the rock legends proud with an intense and moving take on “The Chain.”
