If one considers this video alongside this video that I posted a few weeks back, one might get the impression that Amy Black and Ward Hayden (of Girls Guns and Glory) like to sit around their houses playing songs. Â Come to think of it, that doesn’t sound so bad.
Well, apparently they don’t just sit around singin’. Â Black has a show in Boston on 14 Sept (tix here; she is followed by a separate late show with Boy Thayer & Perfect Trainwreck making for a fine night of music). Girls Guns and Glory are touring throughout the fall (details here). Â Â Â
In the meantime, here are Black and Hayden singing the Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty classic “After the Fire is Gone” in what appears to be Hayden’s living room.
