Monday Morning Video: Frank Turner

Monday, September 10, 2012 By Mayer Danzig

Frank Turner passed through Boston last week, playing three shows in 24 hours. Turner was spectacular, an artist clearly getting stronger in both his songwriting and live performances.

Here are two clips from show #2, a private mid-day acoustic affair at a small Boston club: “Peggy Sang the Blues” and, one of my favorites, “I Still Believe.”

And I still believe
In the need
For guitars and drums and desperate poetry
And I still believe
That everyone
Can find a song for every time they lost, and every time they’ve won
So just remember folks, we’re not just saving lives we’re saving souls
We’re having fun
