Win Big: Bloodshot Records Live @ 15

Monday, May 02, 2011 By Mayer Danzig

Bloodshot at 15How was your Record Store Day? Mine was fine, thanks. Our friends at Bloodshot made it all the better with an awesome live release, recorded at their 15th Anniversary celebration in Chicago on September 12th, 2009.

Beyond being a great music collection, it’s a great reminder as to why Bloodshot is one of our favorite labels. Beyond the artists listed below, the label is home to Twangville faves Justin Townes Earle, the Bottle Rockets and Lydia Loveless to name just a few.

Bloodshot is offering one lucky Twangville reader a copy of this limited edition 15th Anniversary release. To win, post a comment with your favorite Bloodshot release (see the complete catalog here). A winner will be selected at random when the contest ends on Friday, 6 May 2011 at midnight ET.**

Of course everybody wins with this special mp3 from the release, Alejandro Escovedo’s “Castanets.”
