The video companion returns with a short but potent set from August’s playlist. We kick things off with Rich Pagano and SugarCane Cups ripping it up on “Change Your Mind.” Luke Doucet takes the baton with a solo performance of “Dirty Dirty Blonde” that rivals the recorded version. Paul Thorn slows us down a bit with a bit of folklore and song on “You Might be Wrong” before Mic Harrison and the High Score speed us back up with a cool performance video constructed from over 1,000 photographs. Ruby James, backed by Will and Charlie Sexton, performs “The Predictable Kind” from the legendary Antones in Austin while we catch Sarah Borges and the Broken Singles show us how to rock honky-tonk style from Nashville’s Mercy Lounge. The Sideshow Tragedy close us out this month with some furious guitar. Until next month…
