One wouldn’t blame Nashville musician Will Hoge for wanting to pull a Rip Van Winkle this past year. Last August he nearly lost his life when he was struck by a van while riding his scooter home from the studio. After months of surgeries and undoubtedly painful therapy, Hoge is back with a new album and a welcome return to the road.
Over the next eleven weeks Hoge will be previewing each of the tracks from the forthcoming The Wreckage on his mySpace page. This week’s pick is, fittingly enough, the album’s lead-off track, “Hard to Love.”
The Wreckage will be released on vinyl (with companion mp3s) August 25th and on cd September 29th.
