Boston’s Kickbacks are a sentimental favorite. For ten years they’ve been serving up some mighty fine Americana. Singer-songwriter Tad Overbaugh has a knack for catchy melodies made all the more satisfying by the band’s harmonies.
The band is celebrating the holidays by offering a free five-song ep for download. The ep features songs from Even the Blues, their latest full-length. The download is available via the “News” page of the band’s web-site.
There’s nothing like free music to start the week off on the right note. As the band sings in the pleasant title track, “Did you know that you can buy, a happy ending too; A 20 mg smile, no clouds will hang over you.”
