Danzig vs. Springsteen

Friday, October 26, 2007 By Mayer Danzig

Its not what you think. In advance of Bruce Springsteen and Glenn Danzig both playing concerts in the Bay area over the next week, the San Francisco Weekly is running an entertaining story pitting the two Jersey boys against one another. The article features a full “tale of the tape,” of which my favorite is:

Springsteen: Has shared the stage with the American flag.

Danzig: Has shared the stage with Henry Rollins of Black Flag.

Visit the SF Weekly site to read the article and see the classic artist’s depiction of the duel.

Now, I know that you’re tempted to go with Springsteen (heck, the full E Street Band has his back) but we Danzigs can be rather feisty. Al and Mitch, on which side do you fall? Does anyone else want to, pardon the pun, weigh in on this question?
