Superdrag Needs Your Help

Friday, August 17, 2007 By Mayer Danzig

It’s been five years since their last album and a few beyond that since the original line-up played together. Whether playing live or on record the Knoxville, Tennessee-based quartet’s raucous guitars couldn’t mask their infectious pop melodies. This fall the original members — singer/guitarist John Davis, guitarist Brandon Fisher, bassist Tom Pappas, and drummer Don Coffey, Jr. — reconvene for a handful of special shows.

Best of all, they’re letting their fans help plan the show. The three songs receiving the most votes in an online poll will be incorporated into the set list. My selection, “Baby Goes to 11,” isn’t fairing well but there’s still time. Cast your vote here.

Tour dates and ticket information are available on the band’s web site.
