Grace Potter & The Nocturnals @ The State Theatre

Sunday, June 03, 2007 By Tom Osborne

I recently took advantage of a chance to see Grace Potter & The Nocturnals on tour in the DC area (5/19/07). I’ve mentioned before that they were one of my favorite shows at SXSW back in March. As expected they put on an amazing show. Here’s some photos I took with my new Nikon digital camera. Unfortunately, I haven’t fully learned how to use this camera. The photos are ok and the visuals from the video are pretty good, but the audio positively sucks. Don’t judge the band by my crappy audio. I’m tellin’ ya, their live show is not to miss.

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals – “Falling or Flying”
This one was featured on Grey’s season finale. It’s also one of three tracks available on iTunes right now from the new album.

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals – “If I Were from Paris”
This is one of the newest songs they play. It didn’t even make the forthcoming album it is so new.

Learn more about Grace Potter and the Nocturnals and their forthcoming album This is Somewhere. Make sure you see them when they come to your neck of the woods.
