AmericanaRoots.com Showcase at SXSW

Tuesday, March 06, 2007 By Tom Osborne

americana roots showcase

Gregg Geil and our pals over at AmericanaRoots.com are hosting their second annual showcase at SXSW on Saturday the 17th at the Waterloo Ice House.

The lineup:

  • 8PM Bow Thayer
  • 9PM Band of Heathens
  • 10PM John D. Hale Band
  • 11PM Wrinkle Neck Mules
  • 12PM Tom Gillam’s Tractor Pull (full band)

Its about this time when I start to regret my decision to leave town on Friday. Don’t be an idiot like me. If you are lucky enough to be at the festival, go check out this amazing night of Americana. Admission is free and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
