Emails were set out on friday announcing the majority of the talent that will be appearing at 2007’s New Orleans Jazz Fest. The festival will take place on the weekends of April 27th and May 4th, and tickets are already available online.
The talent list includes but is certainly not limited to: Norah Jones, John Legend, Van Morrison, Jill Scott, Irma Thomas, Allman Brothers Band, Counting Crows, Better Than Ezra, Joss Stone, Taj Mahal, Ludacris, Dr. John, Jerry Lee Lewis, Allen Toussaint, Marcia Ball, Dr. Lonnie Smith, The New Orleans Social Club, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Buckwheat Zydeco, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Rod Stewart, Steely Dan, ZZ Top, and a closing performance by Harry Connick Jr. on May 6th.
