Holiday Album Previews

Tuesday, December 05, 2006 By Tom Osborne

album coverWell, it seems that nearly everyone is now in full on holiday mode. Our friends over at AOL Music are dedicating an entire listening party to holiday music. James Taylor, Hall & Oates and Sarah McLachlan were a few that caught my attention. Don’t miss Taylor’s rendition of “Jingle Bells”. On another wavelength check out holiday albums by Billy Idol and Twisted Sister also at the AOL Holiday Listening Party.

  • James Taylor, At Christmas (Columbia)
  • Daryl Hall and John Oates, Home for Christmas (U-Watch)
  • Sarah McLachlan, Wintersong (Arista)

And because I’m still feeling in Tom Waits mode, check out this gem (“Silent Night”) posted by The Late Greats along with an amazing playlist.

Time to get started on those year end Best of lists. Stay tuned.
