Josh Ritter – In The Dark, Live At Vicar Street

Wednesday, November 08, 2006 By Sarah Davis

I’ve learned all too well that the Holiday Shopping season has commenced.  Borders has been packed with people buying gifts left and right, and in that spirit, I wanted to make sure you all got the heads up on Josh Ritter’s new live CD/DVD combo, “In The Dark”.  It won’t be released until November 24th and it is technically only available in Ireland, but kind chap that he is, Ritter has made sure fans everywhere can get their hands on it.  Just go to RoadRecords to order it now and they’ll ship it out as soon as possible.  There is a live stream of both the CD and the DVD, both of which include his stories (and anyone who has seen him live can attest to the fact that his stories rival his music in terms of entertainment value).  The track list for the CD is as follows (the DVD has some additional stuff on it):

1. Idaho

2. Good Man

3. Me & Jiggs

4. Harrisburg

5. Wings

6. One More Mouth

7. Lillian, Egypt

8. Kathleen

9. Best For the Best

10. Girl In The War

11. Thin Blue Flame

12. Snow Is Gone

13. Leaving
