Exclusive: Alejandro Escovedo Still Talking

Alejandro EscovedoBack in Austin after the demise of Rank and File, Escovedo went on to form the legendary True Believers with his brother Javier and with Jon Dee Graham. The band was a three-headed monster — each man equally impressive at both songwriting and guitar-playing. “The Believers were like a full-on rock band kind of wanting to be the Mott the Hoople of the Southwest,” reflects Escovedo.
