Hacienda Brother Chris Gaffney was diagnosed with liver cancer earlier this year. He is about to begin an extreme course of chemotherapy in hopes of eradicating the disease.

I first heard Gaffney when he toured with Dave Alvin several years ago. I had no idea who he was but am forever grateful to Alvin for introducing me to a talented singer and performer. Here is a clip of Gaffney and the Hacienda Brothers in action.
