Monday Morning Video: The Peacemakers

Monday, September 19, 2011 By Mayer Danzig

Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers have a well-earned reputation are one of the most fun live bands touring today. In a moment of indecision, I couldn’t decide which of these videos to post. So, what the heck, I’ll post ’em both.

The first is “Fonder and Blonder,” a tune from Clyne and drummer P.H. Naffah’s previous band the Refreshments. (Even if you aren’t familiar with them, you’ve probably heard them — they sang the theme song for the Fox show King of the Hill.”)

The second song is “Beautiful Disaster” from the Peacemakers’ debut release.

If you like what you hear, the band is offering a free sampler here.
