Twangville “Best Yet in Aught-Seven” Contest

It’s not too late to enter the Twangville Best Yet in 2007 Contest! Add a comment to this post with the album and artist, along with an optional description of why your Twangville neighbors might enjoy it. You’ll find the comment form at the bottom of this page.

Since things are always more fun when there are prizes involved, we’ll select one person at random to receive a special Ryan Adams prize pack.

Thanks to our friends at Filter Magazine, we’ve got a copy of Ryan’s latest release, “Easy Tiger” plus this special limited edition promotional poster. But hurry, the contest ends on July 18th.

Patty Griffin’s “Children Running Through” tops the list for me. I also like Ryan Adams, Wilco and Son Volt in that order. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club rules for best alternative album. Also, look for the forthcoming Grace Potter album to be a contender.
