Careless Hearts, On the Radar

careless hearts

Check out San Franscisco Bay Area twangers, Careless Hearts. The foursome lead by the songwriting and vocals of Paul Kimball consists of guitars (Paul Kimball and Derek See), bass (Rob Miller) and drums (Craig Heitkam). Their self-titled debut is full of sad songs influenced by traditional country songbooks juxtaposed with rockin’ twang channeling the likes of The Band, the Stones and more recently Two Tons of Steel.

In addition to “Chattering Teeth” also check out “Box Step”, “Can’t Tell A Man” and “Ravenous”. For more tracks like these or to buy the full album go to iTunes or CDBaby.

If you are in the Bay area, be sure and catch one of these shows. I’d be sure and catch the Reckless Kelly show on the 23rd.
