Best of ‘06: Chilled, a Playlist

album coverThis is the first of three playlists featuring some of my favorite songs of the year. I’m calling this one Chilled. It features songs that have a Folk orientation or are otherwise mellow. They are ordered to flow (not by rank) and limited to 20 in order to fit on a single CD. For song samples, an iMix is available on iTunes.

    Ah! I realized my comment here got cut off. Anyway, yeah it’s funny that I would suggests “Girl in the War” for one of you other playlists — seeing just how people categorize music in these lists, in addition in who they include/exclude, is always pretty interesting and part of the fun of the “best of” posts. I wish Ritter would have gotten more attention this year. Eh, maybe the next album…
