Videos From Artists With New Releases, Week of October 17

It’s nearly impossible to get new videos from artists the week of their album releases. But with the magical goodness of the new YouTube playlisting feature, we can package together a bunch of videos from artists into a single playlist. The videos are sometimes crappy captures of live performances on digital devices and the audio can vary from video to video, but what a great thing. I feel like MTV is finally reborn and this time around I get to be in the driver’s seat. Hooray! We can watch videos again. No longer will we succumb to The Real World/Road Rules Challenge or My Sweet Sixteen. Being able to watch an artists video or live performance is a great way to get the feel for a band and now we have a good way to do it. This being a first crack at something like this, I don’t really think it is a great playlist but it does have some good parts. In the meantime, enjoy the videos from these artists and then go check out their new releases.
