I was lucky enough to see Old Crow in Louisville a few mos ago, and bought their new cd. Little did I know that on my way back to Evansville, IN, my hometown where I was visiting, Old Crow would start the “Cocain Habit” song calling out “Bring on down the good stuff from Vandenburgh County, Indiana!” ~ which is Evansville!! We screamed w/ delight (though we’ve never heard of E’ville being a cocaine town, of course)! Those guys absolutely rock!

I am thrilled to find this site (by accident while googling myself)…and the note I sent to Old Crow! Since I already have the new cd, any chance I could get a signed picture of the band? That would be so sweet. I am a musician (not the 61yr old Linda Sublett in California) ~ I have a weekly gig in Old Town Alexandria, VA (just outside of D.C.)…I would LOVE to meet the guys next time they are near here. I cover Joni Mitchell, Gillian Welch, Lucinda Williams, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, etc. Please email me if you can get me a signed picture and I will send you my address.

Great site! I’ll definitely save it, and I have already sent it to my friends.

    ~ Linda :-)
