Record Store Day This Saturday!

Get ready for Record Store Day this Saturday, April 18th. Started in 2007 to promote independent record stores, it has grown into a celebration of independent music and the hearty souls that support it.

Across the country and around the world Independent Record Stores will be hosting special in-store performances. You’ll likely find me at the flagship Newbury Comics in Boston for the Low Anthem and Sarah Borges. Other quick picks are:

  • Bottle Rockets @ Euclid Records (St. Louis, MO)
  • Mark Olson & Gary Louris (of the Jayhawks) @ Waterloo Records (Austin, TX)
  • Del McCoury, Charlie Louvin, Black Joe Lewis, Avett Brothers @ Grimey’s (Nashville, TN)


Stores will also be featuring tons of exclusive and limited edition merchandise, including:

  • Wilco – Ashes Of The American Flags DVD
