Johnny Cash, Album Preview

There’s really only one release worthy of notice this week. It comes from a man named Johnny Cash. That’s right, THE Johnny Cash. His body may be gone but he will never be forgotten. This record, his last, was recorded during his last years of life already a widow looking square in the eye of his own fate.

I’m including a video clip of Cash singing “Walk the Line” (above). It has nothing to do with his latest release A Hundred Highways, it just happens to be one of my favorite tunes and to me epitomizes his legacy.

Enjoy your independence day! God bless you, our freedom and of course Johnny Cash.
