Twangville

Grace Potter, David Serby & The Wells, via Tom’s Mailbox

One of the perks of being involved with Twangville is that some really great artists send me music to sample. The unfortunate thing is that more often than not, much of what is sent to me never sees the light of day. I’ve been burdening myself with the idea that I have to do an album review in order to mention various people on the blog. I’m beginning to think that this is an ubsurd notion and a huge disservice to the many artists who spend time and money to get their music in front of me. Writing reviews is but a mere hobby of mine and doesn’t necessarily come naturally for me. Its time to change that. With permission from the fine folks who send music my way, I want to start exposing some of the great tunes that I’ve been keeping too close to my chest. Over time, some of these will get more indepth reviews. On that note, if any of these artists sound like something you would be interested in reviewing for Twangville, please let me know.

That being said, check out these bands:
